Acacia & Darynn Rae

     Although I promised not to blog until Nancy and I were back on-the-road, recent events have prompted me to release this "special edition" for a "special addition" to the family.  On January 25, 2018 at 1:57 a.m. my daughter, Acacia, and her husband, Adam, gave birth to a beautiful baby girl--Darynn Rae Ransom.  Darynn is 8 lbs. 8 oz. and 21" long.  Mother and baby are doing great.  Dad is bursting with love.

     Nancy and I were in Connecticut a couple of days ahead of the birth and were with our other daughter, Bryce, when at 3:00 a.m. on 1/25 we were awakened by a phone call from Acacia and Adam giving us the wonderful news.  Needless to say there was not a lot of sleeping the rest of the night; but we rushed to the hospital the next morning to see and hold our 1st granddaughter.  Our entire family is elated!
